Directivos de AOL intentan deshacerse de su presidente

Varios directivos de AOL Time Warner están intentando desprenderse del presidente del Consejo de Administración del grupo mediático, Steve Case, pero éste estaría resistiendo el desafío, según informa en la edición electrónica de 'The New York Times', citando a tres personas próximas al Consejo.

Los ejecutivos estarían buscando la destitución de Case tan pronto como se inicie el consejo, que se reúne el próximo jueves en Nueva York. Sin embargo, el rotativo cita a directivos de AOL Time Warner próximos a Case para añadir que este quiere seguir como presidente, y probablemente tendrá suficiento apoyo para resistir un desafío abierto en la reunión.
Los accionistas tendrán la oportunidad de votar sobre su cargo en la reunión anual de la compañía en primavera. Según los términos de la fusión que Case negoció cuando AOL adquirió Time Warner, se necesita el voto de tres cuartas partes del consejo para quitarle de la presidencia del grupo, así que necesitaría sólo tres aliados en el consejo de catorce miembros para resistir el golpe.

"No hay base para ningún rumor de que Steve Case se vaya a ir", afirmó un portavoz del grupo, Edward Adler. Ejecutivos de AOL Time Warner han reconocido en los últimos meses que Case se ha visto en aprietos por parte de varios accionistas institucionales, disgustados por su papel como estratega de la compra de Time Warner por parte de AOL. Las acciones del grupo han caído más de un setenta por ciento desde que se cerró el acuerdo.

COSAS DEL PAIS VASCO...

Una profesora de primer de ESO en una aldea del Pais Vasco, explica en clase que ella es de EH, y entonces pide que levante la mano todo el que también sea seguidor de EH.Todos en clase, por temor a represalias por parte de la maestra, levantan la mano diciéndose abertzale, excepto una niña que estaba sentada al fondo del salón.
La profesora miro a la niña con sorpresa y le pregunto: "¿Martita, porque no has levantado la mano?"
"Porque yo no soy de EH, maestra"

La profesora, extrañada, pregunto de nuevo:

(f) You may not publish or distribute in any form of electronic or printed
communication the materials within or otherwise related to Licensed Works,
including but not limited to the object code, documentation, help files,

TERM: This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate this
Agreement at any time by uninstalling the Licensed Works and destroying all
copies of the Licensed Works. Upon any termination, you agree to uninstall
the Licensed Works and return or destroy all copies of the Licensed Works, any
accompanying documentation, and all other associated materials.

WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMER:

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED OTHERWISE IN A WRITTEN AGREEMENT BETWEEN LICENSOR
AND YOU, THE LICENSED WORKS ARE NOW PROVIDED ÒAS ISÓ WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY
