Algunas de sus funciones son:

Mantener la Agenda Cultural en Internet.
Organizar y desarrollar programas culturales en el extranjero.
Participar en la preparación de Tratados, Convenios y programas de cooperación, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, con instituciones, entidades y personas públicas o privadas.
Organizar encuentros, seminarios, publicaciones, etc. destinados al fomento del voluntariado y del turismo cultural y a propiciar la implicación de la sociedad en la cultura.
Gestionar los programas de becas de formación y ayudas de la Secretaría de Estado de Cultura.
Cooperar con la acción cultural de las Comunidades Autónomas, propiciando, de acuerdo con ellas, la comunicación cultural entre las mismas, el conocimiento de la pluralidad y riqueza de sus respectivos Patrimonios Culturales, así como el intercambio de información sobre sus actividades culturales.
Canalizar la información sobre las convocatorias de ayudas del "Programa 2000" de la Unión Europea, difundiendo información y prestando asesoramiento a los profesionales, operadores y agentes culturales.

La Dirección General de Cooperación y Comunicación Cultural contribuye al favorecimiento de la comunicación cultural entre las Comunidades Autónomas, a mejorar la proyección de la cultura española en el extranjero y, en general, a la promoción de la cultura en todos aquellos ámbitos que no son una función específica de otras Direcciones Generales de la Secretaría de Estado de Cultura.

Algunas de sus funciones son:

Mantener la Agenda Cultural en Internet.
Organizar y desarrollar programas culturales en el extranjero.
Participar en la preparación de Tratados, Convenios y programas de cooperación, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, con instituciones, entidades y personas públicas o privadas.
Organizar encuentros, seminarios, publicaciones, etc. destinados al fomento del voluntariado y del turismo cultural y a propiciar la implicación de la sociedad en la cultura.
Gestionar los programas de becas de formación y ayudas de la Secretaría de Estado de Cultura.
Cooperar con la acción cultural de las Comunidades Autónomas, propiciando, de acuerdo con ellas, la comunicación cultural entre las mismas, el conocimiento de la pluralidad y riqueza de sus respectivos Patrimonios Culturales, así como el intercambio de información sobre sus actividades culturales.
Canalizar la información sobre las convocatorias de ayudas del "Programa 2000" de la Unión Europea, difundiendo información y prestando asesoramiento a los profesionales, operadores y agentes culturales.

Enseguida le siguió el anular. Y juntos los dos entraron y salieron una y otra vez, saliendo cada vez más calientes, y sobretodo, mojados.

De pronto sentí como si Silvia hiciera un amago de abrir sus ojos, de moverse, y casi como si esto me hubiera producido una descarga eléctrica, saqué mi mano de dentro de ella. the very first time it was done was May 1990, but it soon dropped down
again. It was before the split and anyone could set up a server so we set
up a few on machines at UC to bring the total up to 100 :-)

here's a bit of history...

I first started using irc in January or February of 1990. At the time the
latest server revs were 2.2PL0 and 2.2PL1. msa and Chelsea Ashley Dyerman
were working on the 2.3 release ... there was a disagreement between them
about the copyrights. Chelsea had everything copyrighted by the IRCDC (IRC
Development Consortium). People told her they didn't like that, it should
be GPL'ed. She released 2.3alpha with those copyrights. Very few sites ran
it as it didn't offer much over 2.2PL1.

At the same time, msa was doing his own work. He added very handy things
like /whowas, nick chase kill, wallops (later removed), and remote /away
propogation. He had several releases, the most stable being 2.2msa4 and
2.2msa9. 2.2msa10 eventually turned into 2.4 (2.3 was "tainted" by
Chelsea).

Jarkko came along and did a bit of cleanup on 2.4 (which was stable in and
of itself) and released 2.4.1.

- irc2.5

Armin did 2.5 alpha, and then Jarkko took it over, with his idiotic 2.5+
release. msa (I believe) did 2.5.1 ... then Tom Hopkins and some other BU
folks (myself included) collaborated on 2.5.1.bu.10, possibly the most
stable server version to date :-) No new features went into 2.5.1.bu.10
(also called 2.5.2 in the docs, but it was never released as such), just
bug fixes. I wish we did that nowadays :-)

- irc2.6 + channels (still have numerics) # channels added later on

Armin started the 2.6 release and then Avalon took it over.

- irc2.7 # channels replace + channels and numerics go away forever

2.7 was a nice cleanup release. People tried to do things a bit more by
the book. ircd was put through a saber C check (and bullied into
compliance :-)

Bans were added to the server in 2.7. In 2.6 you could kick a user out but
had to rekick or go +i to stop them from rejoining.

Bueno. Pues ya se terminó el fenómeno televisivo de la temporada. Sí, hablo de OT, la inefable academia. Y digo que se acabó como programa, porque ahora nos queda ver el ascenso y caída de los nuevos ídolos. Y me da la sensació de que va a ser algo así como el anuncio aquel del insecticida (os acordais? nacen, crecen ,se reproducen, mueren, y desaparecen.) Veamoslo.

1.NACIMIENTO.
Receta: Seleccionese en un casting un grupo de concursantes que abarquen todo tipo de circunstancias sociales, de modo que la mayor parte de la sociedad se vea identificada en alguno de ellos. El talento artístico es secundario, de eso se encarga el coreógrafo y la mesa de sonido.
Una vez seleccionados, se mezclarán bien con los hits mas resultones (y facilones) de temporadas pasadas... ¡Y ya tenemos a los personajes del cuento!
Como escenario, reinventese un espectáculo tradicional, de los de toda la vida, y se habrá ganado la corrección política necesaria. Elija Eurotostón, y conviertalo en "lo mas de lo mas o sea".
Ahora, ya está todo listo para empezar a cocinarse...

2.CRECEN.
Poco a poco, que vaya calando en la masa borreguil. Comiencese con una promoción suave, e increméntela progresivamente, no sea que sature antes de tiempo. En los estadíos finales, haga promoción hasta en la sopa, poniendo a los cobayas en cualquier situación imaginable. Si además consigue que el partido político gobernante muerda el anzuelo y aumente la promoción de forma gratuíta, mejor. Llegado el concurso final (Euro...) debe usted ser lo mas patriotero posible, y pensar que lo suyo es lo mejor. Y si pierden, lo que ha pasado es una conspiración judeo-masónica dirigida desde Moscú para que los países satélites ganen,,, Como en los viejos tiempos, oiga!!!

2. SE REPRODUCEN.
Ahora sus cobayas copan los primeros puestos de la lista de los mas vendidos (nunca hubo una lista con un nombre mas propio, los mas VENDIDOS). Aprovechelo y exprima su cobaya todo lo que pueda, haga discos que son un insulto al buen gusto, métalos en cualquier programa televisivo que se deje engañar, y saque el mayor porcentaje posible.

4. MUEREN Y DESAPARECEN.
Se dice que cuando se comen huevos con jamón, la gallina está implicada, pero el cerdo está comprometido... Traduciendo: Su cobaya tiene una vida media de dos o tres veranos (vease: Sonia y Selena, La Rabia, La Mosca...), pero su dueño subsiste en el tiempo. Así que cuando su cobaya se agote, tírela por ahí, la masa borreguil ya tendrá nuevos ídolos para dar sentido a su vida y no va a echarlo de menos.

Habeis tomado nota? Ya veis que en el fondo los personajes son lo de menos. Si supieran lo que les espera, no se meterían allí (Verdad, Mariah Carey?). Pero no os preocupeis, que este tipo de mierda volverá. Siempre lo hace.
